The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia plans to extend next year the program to stimulate demand for domestic cars. This will affect the leasing program and preferential car loans. The words of Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov are transmitted by Izvestia. "Of course, we plan to continue stimulating demand for cars produced in Russia," he said, answering a question about the extension of preferential programs for next year.

The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that almost 21 billion rubles are provided for the implementation of programs - preferential car leasing, preferential car loans, stimulating demand for gas-powered equipment - in 2022. It is planned that 75 thousand cars will be sold with the help of them. "The funds are also provided for subsequent periods. In accordance with the draft budget for 2023, it is planned to allocate 9.8 billion rubles for programs, 17 billion rubles in 2024 and 19 billion rubles in 2025. Thus, we plan to stimulate the sale of about 190 thousand more cars," he detailed.

The terms of the preferential car loan program have been improved this year - the discount has increased from 10% to 20% (for the Far Eastern Federal District it remained at 25%), and the cost of a car falling under a preferential car loan has increased from 1.5 million rubles to 2 million rubles. The offer is available to families with at least one minor child, doctors and teachers, as well as drivers buying a vehicle for the first time. In addition, the conditions apply to those who rent a car older than six years in a trade-in, provided that they have owned it for at least a year.

In addition, the preferential car loan applies to Russian electric cars Evolve, the production of which will be launched in September. The discount will be 35%, but not more than 925 thousand rubles for one electric car.
