The village "Babaevo" of Sobinsky district acquired 92 purebred Jersey cows. This was reported by the administration of the Vladimir region.
Despite their small size, cows of this breed give very tasty milk with high fat content (from 6 to 8 percent). This makes it indispensable for the production of high-quality and delicious butter, sour cream and cheeses.

The agricultural production corporate "Babaevo" specializes in dairy products. In 2020, the volume of milk processing amounted to 2,456 tons, in 2021 the volume increased to 2,962 tons. With the appearance of a new herd of cows, producers expect an increase in the volume of milk processing.
