The aircraft factory in Komsomolsk-on-Amur is loaded with orders for 6 years ahead
The Gagarin Aviation Plant, located in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, was loaded with orders until 2028. In addition, the company is expanding production – there are plans to increase production of the fifth generation of Su-57 fighters. This is reported by TASS with reference to the CEO of Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov."This year, the Russian Aerospace Forces will receive new Su-57 fighters, they are in a high degree of readiness, and in the future the production rates of these fighters will be increased.
We understand how important this work is, so the plant is actively expanding and modernizing to increase production of the Su-57. At the moment, it is loaded with orders until 2028," the Rostec press service quotes him as saying.
In order to increase the production of the Su-57, the plant plans to introduce modern production methods, build new facilities and purchase new modern equipment. We have already created a production line in the final assembly workshops.
At the end of the summer, specialists laid new facilities for testing fighter systems and equipment. The priority plans include the construction of a boathouse for testing avionics, a fuel box and a motor test station. They will receive the first planes in the second half of next year.
