The Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) has created a single educational cluster of LUKOIL.

LUKOIL's educational cluster includes a Field Development Management Center, an Oil and Gas Field Equipment Training and Research Site, three named classrooms named after Valery Isaakovich Greifer, Vladimir Yuryevich Filanovsky, Yuri Sergeyevich Korchagin, as well as methodological classrooms for teachers and students.

To train specialists in the specialties in demand in the fuel and energy complex, three basic departments created in the organizations of the LUKOIL group are successfully operating at the university. These are the Department of Innovation Management, the Department of Modeling of Physical and Technological Processes of Field Development and the Department of Renewable Energy Sources.
