A new oil and gas infrastructure has appeared at the Chayandinsky field
Gazprom Neft has commissioned a new oil and gas infrastructure at the Chayandinskoye field. As a result, the annual level of oil supplies from Chayanda to the markets of the Asia-Pacific region will reach 1.9 million tons, 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas will also be extracted from oil rims, Gazprom reports.
"The Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field is unique in terms of reserves, one of the largest in the east of our country. Gazprom Neft is developing the Chayanda oil reservoirs under a long-term risky operator agreement with Gazprom," said Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Board. He added that "the deposit is distinguished by its complex geology and remoteness from logistics hubs.
Gazprom Neft's technological expertise and successful experience in developing hard-to-recover reserves in the Arctic helped it overcome these challenges."
Dyukov reports that "the new oil and gas infrastructure will increase the supply of hydrocarbons to the growing markets of the Asia-Pacific region."
This creates an opportunity for further active development of the new Gazprom Neft production center in Eastern Siberia.
