On September 30, 2022, the Bank of Russia issued a commemorative silver coin with a nominal value of 3 rubles "100th anniversary of the creation of the Andrey Nikolaevich Tupolev Experimental Design Bureau". The circulation of the coin is 3 thousand pieces, - the press service of the Bank of Russia reports.

A silver coin with a nominal value of 3 rubles, has a mass of precious metal of 31.1 grams, a sample of 925 alloy. The shape of the coin's circle is 39.0 millimeters in diameter.There is a protruding edge on the obverse and reverse sides of the coin along the circumference.

On the obverse of the coin there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions: "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", "BANK OF RUSSIA". On the reverse side of the coin there are relief images of a portrait of Andrei Tupolev, an airplane and the emblem of the 100th anniversary of the Tupolev Design Bureau against the background of laser matting images of the design bureau building, a coordinate grid and clouds; at the top of the circle there is a relief inscription: "The 100th ANNIVERSARY of the TUPOLEV Design Bureau". The issued coin is a legal means of cash payment on the territory of the Russian Federation and is required to be accepted at face value in all types of payments without any restrictions.
