The scientific and Production Association "Scanner", a resident of Technopolis Moscow, will produce modern high-precision equipment for ultrasound diagnostics in various fields. Ultrasound scanners will be useful in obstetrics and pediatrics, as well as in oncology and traumatology, the press service of the Moscow government reports.

The equipment is manufactured under the brand name "RuSkan". It allows doctors to carry out high-precision ultrasound diagnostics in various fields of medicine, including obstetrics and gynecology, urology and nephrology, studies of superficially located organs and structures, the abdominal cavity, vascular studies, including brain vessels, echocardiography, traumatology and orthopedics, pediatrics and neonatology.

In the manufacturer's line there are models of both medium and expert class, including a portable model of expert class. Advanced visualization capabilities allow you to get high-quality scanning over the entire depth. More than 60% of them consist of Russian raw materials and components. "Thanks to this, conditions are being created to effectively meet the demand of medical institutions for high—quality equipment," he stressed. According to Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, the launch of their production is expected by the beginning of next year. In the second quarter, the manufacturer expects to reach full capacity. This will give medical institutions up to two thousand scanners a year. The company has invested about 55 million rubles in new production, and plans to open more than 30 jobs at the enterprise.
