The business of the company "Sylvamo", known for its paper products under the brand "SvetoCopy", was acquired by the Russian "PULP Invest". The transaction amount is 420 million dollars. This is stated in the message of the foreign company. Taking into account the exchange rates of foreign currency and operating fees, Sylvamo received about 390 million, 325 of which will be used to repay the company's debts.

The buyer of the Russian business "Sylvamo" makes toilet paper, paper towels and napkins at the production site of technopolis "Himgrad" in Kazan.

The American manufacturer announced its intention to leave Russia in May. The production base is located at the Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill in the Leningrad region. They make paper of the brands "SvetoCopy" and "Ballet Classic", as well as blanks for tetrapacks. The staff of the plant is 1,700 people.
