Another 18 metro stations will be built in Moscow by 2025
It is planned to build 18 new metro stations in Moscow in the period from 2023 to 2025, as well as 38.9 kilometers of city subway lines. This is evidenced by the data of the capital's Targeted Investment Program (AIP), approved by the Mayor's Office for 2023-2025.
As noted by the Vice-mayor of Moscow Andrey Bochkarev, new sections will be completed on the Solntsevskaya, Sokolnicheskaya, Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya lines. In addition, a new Troitskaya metro line will appear in the capital, as well as the Suvorovskaya station on the Ring Line.
During this period, it is also planned to begin construction of two more metro lines in Moscow: Rublevo-Arkhangelsk and Biryulevskaya. Recall that the metropolitan government approved the AIP for the period 2023-2025. It includes facilities that will be built or reconstructed at the expense of the city budget. During this period, it is planned to build and put into operation over 750 different urban facilities.
