A new foreign trade contract has been concluded between the Group of companies "Akom" and the company AKOM GROUP BATTERY LTD from Bulgaria. The first shipment of products of Zhigulev plant - the leader in the production of Russian batteries - was made on November 29 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

In 2020 under the contract it is planned to export about 4000 accumulator batteries with the subsequent increase. The deliveries include both already recommended brands such as AKOM, Reactor, Bravo, and high-tech novelties: AKOM + EFB, ASIA, etc.

Development of the new market was made possible in many respects thanks to successful cooperation between AKOM and the Russian Export Centre (REC). The company's employees were trained under a special acceleration program of REC within the framework of the national project "Increasing Productivity and Supporting Employment". Having acquired additional competences and using them successfully, ACOM expanded the geography of external supplies in the shortest possible time, entering the market of Turkmenistan and now Bulgaria. Thus, today ACOM cooperates with 26 partners from 18 countries, providing about 65% of exports in the industry.
