Expert: in Russia, it is necessary to introduce a mechanism to protect consumers from fake beauty industry devices
In Russia, a system is needed that would force every manufacturer, supplier of any medical equipment to enter information into the Roszdravnadzor system. This is a rudimentary form of labeling of medical devices, which we will eventually come to anyway. Elena Moskvicheva, an analyst of the beauty industry, told about this at the exhibition-forum "Beauty Event: Made in Russia".
"This will allow us to understand that everything that is produced in Russia has reached clinics and beauty salons and has the appropriate permits, you can work and earn money on this," Moskvicheva said.According to her, in Russia it is necessary to work out a mechanism that will also allow avoiding the sale of counterfeit equipment under the guise of original products.
"As for fakes, there is a register of medical devices in Russia, which is currently undergoing some changes. Thus, Roszdravnadzor forces each medical device registered in the Russian Federation and entered in the register to include instructions and photos of the product. It often happens that diametrically different devices are used in clinics under the guise of the same equipment.
