More than 21 thousand hectares of unused land were put into circulation in Transbaikalia during the year
More than 21 thousand hectares of previously unused land have been introduced into agricultural turnover in Transbaikalia this year. The portal "Made with us" reports that four local agro-industrial enterprises carried out work on the commissioning of fallow lands: Novoe Beklemishevo, Teros ZK, Zabaikalagro and Mangazeya Agro.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Trans-Baikal Territory clarified that it is planned to start actively exploiting the new lands in 2023.
"The Trans-Baikal Territory has a great potential of fallow lands and unused arable land on the territory of more than 1 million hectares," the source notes.
