About 288 thousand square meters of roads have been repaired in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky since the beginning of 2022. This is a record figure since the beginning of the implementation of the national project "Safe high-quality roads". This is stated in the press service of the regional government.

"About 200 million rubles were brought to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for pit repairs and replacement of the top layer of asphalt in some areas," the press service of the deputy chairman of the regional government Sergey Mironov quotes.

It should be noted that in 2022, the Kamchatka Territory spent about 8.6 billion rubles for the repair and construction of roads, which is 2.4 billion rubles more than in 2021.

Roads were repaired both in the regional capital and in the direction of fishing villages. About 780 million rubles were allocated for the repair of one of the busiest routes of the peninsula, connecting Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yelizovo. This made it possible to completely repair the road this year.
