Khaibakh historic and architectural complex towers were opened in Chechnya

45

Three restored towers of the Khaibakh historical and architectural complex in the Galanchozhsky district were opened in Chechnya.

"Khaibakh occupies a special place in the chain of tragic events experienced by the Chechen people. And it is a very sad page. In February 1944, several hundred residents of the village of Khaibakh in Chechnya's Galanchozhsky district were burned alive and unable to be taken to the plains for shipment to Siberia. That vast mountainous region has been silent ever since. After their return from exile, no one was allowed to settle in the mountains where they lived. Dozens of villages have been wiped off the face of the earth. Now we take intensive measures to revive the area, build roads, restore dwelling and watchtowers, create conditions to breathe life into the native mountains again. On the eve, one combat tower and two residential towers were inaugurated in Galanchozhsky district", Kadyrov wrote in social networks.

On the instructions of the Head of the Chechen Republic, the Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic, Khozh-Baudi Daayev, organized the reconstruction of the tower complex.

"I am sincerely grateful to him for his responsible attitude to this important issue. I would also like to remind you that we are also restoring towers in all mountainous regions of Chechnya," Kadyrov said.
