Famous American film and music producer Michael Blakey showed his personal collection of luxury watches on his YouTube channel. The Joker model from the Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaikin stood out among those who were dear to the heart of the producer of chronometers.

The watch has a spectacular dial with a disc display of hours and minutes and a moon phase indicator in the form of a Joker crown smile. The Russian manufacturer Konstantin Chaykin, named after its founder, presented this model at the World Watch Show Baselworld in 2017, immediately winning the sympathy of the sophisticated public. The entire first batch of 99 pieces, each worth $7,500, was purchased in the first month.

Since then, Chaykin has had no shortage of orders. The production volume of the brand is about 100 copies per year. It takes from 4 months to several years to produce one exclusive chronometer. Among the clients of the company was also Michael Blakey, known for the production of films Shaft (2000) and Beavis and Butt-head take America" (1996), as well as his work with dozens of popular musicians in the States.

Konstantin Yuryevich Chaykin, inventor and watchmaker, founded his own watch manufactory in 2003, which is engaged in development and production of complex high-tech watches and watch mechanisms. Today Chaykin cooperates with collectors, jewelers and watchmakers from Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Eastern countries and others.

In 2010 Konstantin Chaykin became the first and so far the only Russian member of the International Academy of Independent Watchmakers AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants), from 2016 to 2019 Konstantin Chaykin held the post of President of AHCI.
