UAZ-452 - vehicle of Ulyanovsk plant, known in Russia as Bukhanka, is produced since 1965 in almost unchanged form. It combines the features of an all-terrain vehicle with the comfort of a small bus. UAZ Bukhanka is used as ambulances in regions with "problem" roads, as well as just for driving in difficult places and off-road.

In 2020, these positive aspects of the vehicle received a new life in the form of a camper for fans of extreme recreation and road travel. The new modification of Bukhanka was created in accordance with the requests of European customers and was named Baikal It is produced by LuxeForm, a partner of UAZ.

The package of modifications is an additional roof made of fiberglass plastic with a lifting mechanism, it allows to increase the height of the cabin up to 2 meters and move around the cabin in full height, as well as spread a double bed. Another sleeper is provided in the lower part of the cabin by sections attached to the side walls of the body and the backs of two passenger seats.

In the basic package Baikal is equipped with plastic windows, mosquito nets, wardrobe, and a set of modular furniture made of laminated plastic plywood. Optionally, the camper can be equipped with a full kitchen with a built-in sink and faucet, bio-toilet, fridge, 20-liter water tanks and countertop.
