The foreign trade turnover of Russia and Uzbekistan is now showing good dynamics. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, who is at the Russian-Uzbek business forum in Samarkand, such trends should be maintained further by launching new projects.

"Russia is one of the leading trade partners of Uzbekistan. At the end of last year, we, ahead of China, came out on top in the Republic's foreign trade turnover with a share of about eighteen percent. We see good dynamics this year," RIA Novosti quotes the head of the Russian government.

Mishustin believes that for further mutually beneficial work it is necessary to launch promising industrial cooperation projects in mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, transport infrastructure, agriculture.
