The first regional user testing laboratory has been launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region. It will help to evaluate the convenience of public services and improve them. Dmitry Grigorenko, the head of the government's office, told reporters about this.

"Naturally, the meaning of the laboratory is that public services are evaluated from a technical point of view, and not only from an emotional point of view, by people using the laboratory. That is, moods are fixed, attitudes are fixed, simplicity and convenience are fixed at a technical level using appropriate equipment through citizens who use appropriate services. We get the opportunity, on the one hand, to understand how certain services meet the needs of our citizens, so there is an opportunity to categorize it all, visualize it exactly according to the requirements or expectations that citizens have," Grigorenko explained during a working trip to the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to the governor of the region Gleb Nikitin, unlike the laboratory, social studies do not give an objective picture.

"Often, sociology - surveys, focus groups - does not give an objective picture, because often people for some reason do not always unequivocally express their attitude. Plus, this attitude should be systematized so that it is equally formulated for each respondent," Nikitin said.
