Cooperation with Brazil will be established in St. Petersburg


A delegation from the Brazilian city of Araguaina arrived in St. Petersburg to discuss options for cooperation. The meeting discussed options for joint projects in the food and processing industry, as well as prospects for importing raw materials and products from Brazil. In addition, the design bureaus of St.‑St. Petersburg will be able to design various types of vessels for Brazil on an individual order. This was reported by the press service of the Committee on External Relations of St. Petersburg.

"A delegation from the city of Araguaina in the state of Tocantis of Brazil visited St. Petersburg. The event is aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "International Cooperation and Export". Within the walls of Smolny, a meeting was held with the Brazilian delegation with the participation of a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in St. Petersburg, the relevant committees of the city and the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC). The issues of relations with Latin American countries have always been very important, but there have always been special relations with Brazil," the message says.

The meeting was held within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", which is aimed at building new economic ties and developing exports of Russian-made goods.
