In Russia, some railway tickets will become more expensive next year. Tariffs will be increased for the transportation of passengers in compartments, SV and luxury cars. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the message of the Federal Passenger Company.

"Tariffs for passenger transportation in compartment cars, SV cars and luxury class of FPC trains running in domestic traffic, from January 1, 2023, will be indexed by 8.1% to the level of 2022," the report said.

They also noted that 95% of compartment, SV and luxury cars now use a dynamic pricing system - the cost of tickets is formed depending on the season, day of the week, demand and the number of seats sold.
