The rules for granting subsidies to agricultural machinery producers under Programme No. 1432 have been amended. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been authorized to administer the mechanism.

The machine building industry for agriculture has made a powerful leap in the last decade. The existing measures of the State support for factories contribute to the expansion and modernization of production areas and the introduction of innovative solutions. Thanks to them, updated machine lines are being produced. The annual increase in the export volume of domestic agricultural machinery shows its competitiveness not only in the domestic but also in the international market. In this situation it is necessary to do everything so that the pace of development of this industry would not fall.

Since the launch of the program, which happened back in 2013, production of new models has increased significantly, shipments of agricultural machinery by Russian plants have increased by 3.3 times, and their share in the Russian market has shown growth from 24 to 52%. The rules state that manufacturers will be given subsidies under purchase and sale contracts, under which the equipment was delivered in 2019. To receive the payments, machine builders must apply to the Ministry of Industry and Trade by May 15 and submit the relevant documents.

Applications for subsidy agreements under contracts of sale and purchase concluded since November 1, 2019, for which machinery was delivered in 2020. From 2020, the subsidized discount will range from 10 to 15% depending on the region of supply.

The producers receiving the subsidy will be published in the State Industrial Information System (SIIS).
