Russia is interested in the growth of oil production in Venezuela within the framework of joint projects. The countries are expanding cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, including in the gas sector, there are two projects in the future. This was told by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak on the air of the TV channel "Russia-1".

"For our part, in the projects in which we participate, we are interested in increasing production, timely calculations and sales of products. Venezuelans do not just confirm, they ask that our companies continue to work in Venezuela," Novak said.

Earlier, according to him, companies including from the USA and Europe were represented on the Venezuelan market, but after the introduction of sanctions against the South American state, only Russian companies remained in the country.
