Kaliningrad Amber Plant of Rostec State Corporation presented at the exhibition more than 3 thousand jewelry and souvenirs from the Baltic gem. Each product is one of a kind. This is reported by the press service of the enterprise. To work on amber jewelry, jewelers-cutters will use not only new modern equipment, but also the capabilities of the stone itself, its rich color palette. The promotion of amber jewelry and stone–cutting art at the country's largest exhibition is another step towards popularizing work with Baltic amber.

The exposition of the Amber Combine shows not only the long-standing traditions of stone-cutting works, but also a special school of jewelry processing.

"Creative craftsmen work with stone in our production. The main rule of the amber jewelry processing school is careful attitude to the stone and work with its natural shape and color. Modern technologies have joined the traditions of stone processing. Today it has become possible to artificially age the stone. This technology is successfully used in the production of amber rosaries. In addition to aging, matting of transparent amber is available. Numerical control machines allow you to perform stone–cutting work with an accuracy that could not be achieved with manual processing," said Maya Skvortsova, Deputy General Director of the Kaliningrad Amber Combine for Jewelry Production.
