"28% more travelers want to relax in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in the period from December 30, 2022 to January 8, 2023 than in the same period a year earlier," the agency said in a statement.

The capital of the Republic of Tatarstan has risen from 8th to 6th place in the tourist rating this year. At the same time, the percentage of booking railway tickets to Kazan fell by 13%. The cost of a train ticket today will be about 2.7 thousand rubles, and a plane ticket — 8.7 thousand rubles.

The popularity of Kazan hotels has doubled and now accounts for 4.8% of all hotel bookings. The price per night in the hotels of the capital varies about 8,6 thousand rubles. 4—star hotels are the most popular - this is 36% of the reservation.

This year, the demand for apartments, guest houses and hostels has increased significantly. 24% of service users who have planned a trip to the Republic of Tatarstan are going to live in them, whereas previously this figure was 15%.
