The experiment to support film producers in Moscow will continue in 2023
Moscow will continue to support filmmakers' projects that create images of the city. The information is published on the official website of the mayor of the capital.
"In 2023, the Moscow government and the Moskino cinema chain will continue the experiment of supporting film producers who create vivid images of the capital in the cinema. Applications for grants will be accepted from January 1. Moscow in the frame is one of the important conditions for the selection of paintings. Such episodes should occupy at least 10% of the total timekeeping. The films applying for the grant must be shot on the territory of Moscow public spaces, in parks and estates, to tell them about the historical and cultural identity of the city, as well as about its architectural diversity," the message says.
The size of grants for films produced by students of specialized schools and universities varies from 150 thousand to 450 thousand rubles. An artistic short film can be allocated from 2 to 4 million rubles. And already full-length films and TV series can count on the amount from 5 to 15 million. The films marked with the main prizes of international film festivals can receive a double payout.
