In December, the demand for summer tours in Russia increased by 50-100% compared to the same period last year. This is reported in ATOR (Association of Tour Operators of Russia – approx. editorial offices).

"Since November 2022, tour operators and hoteliers in the south of Russia have opened an early booking campaign for the summer season of 2023. Now the demand exceeds last year's by 50-100%, many tour operators have bought 15-30% more hotel rooms than last year," the report says.

So the demand for summer tours to the Krasnodar Territory has increased up to two times. This is attributed to the fact that a year ago at this time strict covid restrictions were in effect in the region. Tourists could not predict whether they would be removed in the summer – they explain in ATOR. At the same time, the demand for vouchers to Crimea is 50% lower than in December last year.

Tour operators also note that holidays at Russian resorts in 2023 are 10-15% more expensive compared to the current year.
