An enterprise for the extraction and processing of basalt porphyrite has resumed work in the Orenburg region after 13 years of downtime. Governor Denis Pasler and CEO of Ural Mining Holding LLC Sergey Mazurkevich took part in the launch. This was reported in the press service of the government of the region.

"A complex has started operating in the east of the region, which will supply high-quality crushed stone to Orenburg builders. This will be another advantage of the construction industry in the region. In addition, another investor has appeared in the region – Ural Mining Holding, which has been working on the Russian market for many years, knows the production technology perfectly, understands the prospects for the development of the complex. The company has a wide sales market, thanks to which products from Orenburg region can be supplied throughout Russia," Denis Pasler is quoted in the message.

The Novoorskoye deposit of porphyrites and granites has been developed by the OlTrade company since 2009, it also launched a crushing and sorting complex. After a short period of work, the company was idle for several years, until in 2021 it became part of the Ural Mining Holding.

"UGPH has invested about 1 billion rubles in the company. In 2023, it is planned to invest another 500 million rubles - this is the second stage of construction and the completion of a full cycle in order to produce 16 full product names. We are waiting for new housing and road construction projects from the region. These are our potential consumers," the press service quotes Sergey Mazurkevich as saying.

The new complex will produce crushed stone - about 200 thousand tons per month.
