India increased exports of consumer goods to Russia in October by 3.7%
The volume of exports of Indian consumer goods to Russia in October 2022 increased by 3.7% compared to the same period in 2021 - up to 280 million dollars. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of India, the Business Standard newspaper reports.
It is clarified that the growth in exports of this category of goods was achieved mainly due to an increase in the supply of vegetables, tea, coffee, chemicals, as well as metal products.
Recall that by the end of September, India supplied consumer goods worth over $ 297 million, which is 6% higher than in 2021.
In total, India's exports to Russia decreased by almost 16% year-on-year to $1.57 billion in the first seven months of the current fiscal year (started on April 1).
