According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, domestic ice cream exporters were able to earn more than 10 mln USD in revenues for the first 3 months of 2020. The share of ice cream holds 20% of all diary products export from Russia and raised up to 11,4% in comparison with the same period of 2019 with 5.6 thousand tons of exports.

The upcoming summer season raises optimism of Russian officials for further grow of exports and revenues. The industry continues to show excellent dynamics with 14% average growth every year during 2015-2019 period. In 2019 alone the Russian ice cream exporters raised more than 53,4 mln USD in revenue.

Russian ice cream is available in 38 countries. The main importers are Kazakhstan and Mongolia shares 36.6% of all exports, or 19.5 and 5.5 mln USD. The others – Ukraine (4.5 mln USD), China (3.7 mln USD) and Belarus (3.5 mln USD).

The industry experts are predict that Russian ice cream to raise its popularity in following years, especially among the Asian countries.
