About 90% of alcohol and 93% of alcohol in Russia is produced and sold illegally. This is evidenced by the results of almost 45 thousand inspections, which were conducted in the first four months of this year by Rosalkolregulirovanie together with other agencies.

According to Rosstat, the most often ignored rules of sale of alcohol - 14 thousand such violations have been revealed, as well as licensing of liquor (2.7 thousand cases) and accounting procedures.

In addition, alcohol is often produced without labeling, with inaccurate information on the volume of production and turnover, or with fake trademarks.

Most cases of non-compliance with the law in the field of alcohol sales were registered in Privolzhsky federal district, where 7 thousand violations were detected, another 4,500 cases were detected in Central Federal District and 4 thousand cases in Siberian federal district.

The most law-abiding was the North Caucasian Federal District, where 30 clandestine alcohol factories were detected.

As a result of inspections 1.1 thousand criminal cases were initiated and 23 thousand protocols on administrative violations were drawn up.
