Russia has localized combine harvester production in Kazakhstan

The grain harvesting to be carried out this year will be carried out on TORUM 750 combine harvesters.

These machines were assembled at the industrial site in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan by specialists of Kazakhstan Agro-Innovation Corporation and Russian manufacturer Rostselmash (a part of Rosspetsmash).

Experts have positively estimated the new agricultural equipment. Currently, domestic agricultural machinery is in demand in Kazakhstan. It is expected that the difference in price between the locally made combines and the fully assembled machinery imported from Russia will be about 20%, and the price difference with western models starts at 30%.

The annual market for this type of machinery is about 100-120 units.

Rostselmash, together with its colleagues from Kazakhstan, manufactures three models of combine harvesters, tractors and several adapters. Domestic equipment assembled in Kazakhstan enjoys steady demand there.

As Sergey Robchenko, the head of Rostselmash sales department, said TORUM 750 harvesters will be assembled in the country of near abroad in two modifications. The first will be assembled in a classical arrangement for harvesting grain crops, the second will be all-wheel drive and will be designed for rice harvesting.
