113 years ago today, physicist Boris Rosing patented Russian television
The Russian physicist Boris Rozing filed an application for his invention on July 25, 1907.
It was a patent for a "Method of electric transmission of images at a distance", or in other words, Russian television.
Three years later, on October 30, 1910, the scientist received his patent.
Rosing was a professor at the St. Petersburg Institute of Technology and was the first to present electronic television to the world.
So, in May 1911, he showed his colleagues the results of his own invention, which he later called an electrical telescope.
With the help of an electron beam, he demonstrated on a tiny screen of the electron-beam tube the image of a lattice of four stripes. This projection became the world's first television image, which can be considered the prototype of the modern kinescope.
Earlier, the experts shared their tips on how to protect gadgets and computers from hackers.
Thus, according to the head of the company "Intelligent Reserve" Pavel Myasoedov, the owners themselves are responsible for the safety of their devices. In order to avoid damaging a smartphone or a personal computer one should not open unknown or suspicious files and leave personal data in the public domain.
He also warned against connecting to Wi-Fi networks without a password, as hackers are able to take advantage of this even through social networks.
