Rosspetsmash's subsidiary Altai Agricultural Machinery Plant JSC, which manufactures Veles tillage equipment, spoke about its successful experience in supplying to foreign countries.

For the last 3 years the plant has been the leader in sales of its products among other similar Russian companies. Moreover, Veles machinery is sold in 12 countries near and far abroad, including the Netherlands, Austria, Germany and Kazakhstan.

The manufacturer first entered the foreign market in autumn 2017. This happened during the Agritechnica exhibition in Hannover, Germany, where the company presented its machinery with the support of the government, which provided subsidies for the delivery of units, rental of exhibition space and construction.

This led to deals for the delivery of 10 implements to Bulgaria and Germany. This result was a success, as the domestic company was competing with strong European players in this field.

Next, the company had to obtain the necessary certificates to meet international requirements. The Ministry of Industry was active in this area and to this day, it still reimburses the company for the costs of certification and delivery of products.

Later, Veles also exhibited its units at five more fairs in Germany, Bulgaria and France.

To date, more than 70 units of the company's equipment are used on European fields to control weeds. To sell the Russian units in European countries, they are adapted to the categories of tractor attachments, which are the most popular abroad.

Russian machines help solve one of the major problems for European farmers. For instance, there is little rainfall in Austria, so it is important for local farmers to retain moisture in the soil. This requires timely destruction of soil crust and soil capillaries that cause intense evaporation. Veles spring harrows are well suited for this purpose, not only in Austria, but also in Russia and other countries.
