Rusatom - Automated Control Systems (RACS) has been selected as the industry integrator for a new area of business, namely, "nuclear instrumentation".

This means that the company will become responsible for the implementation of scientific and technical policy and for the development of competencies in the industry related to the creation and production of nuclear instrumentation products.

In addition, RASU will unite scientific, technological, production and human resources in this area for further development and release of competitive equipment to the market. The organization is also setting a task to establish cooperation with enterprises of other regions and authorities in the field of nuclear instrument engineering.

Dmitriy Belkin, head of the sector, said the organization, together with its colleagues from other companies, will develop nuclear instrumentation products at all stages of their life cycle, from promising development to service maintenance.

Earlier it became known that Sberbank has started testing a system to detect people in crowded places. Testing is taking place in one of the bank's offices. Also this system is designed to detect people in multi-storey buildings using the augmented reality technology. If successful, it will be used next year.
