Negotiations were held between the Russian trade representative in Tajikistan Evgeny Korenkov and the head of the leading taxi company in this country Sayekhon Umed Nazarov.

As a result of the discussion, Russian-made cars are planned to be delivered to Tajikistan as part of the development of exports of domestic automotive industry products.

During the talks they discussed the purchase of cars from Russia to replenish the taxi fleet, and the establishment of the dealership and service center of the largest car manufacturer in Russia in Dushanbe.

Now domestic-made models of cars, as Korenkov stressed, can compete in the lower price segment in many international markets, including Tajikistan.

It became known in mid-July that the new generation sedan Kia Optima will now be produced in Russia, in Kaliningrad. The new car will be on sale in our country this fall.
