Austro-German company opens new production facility near Kaluga

The first stage of the Archbum Tissue Group plant was launched in Vorsino Industrial Park, Kaluga region. The new enterprise will produce sanitary products and paper.

According to plans, after reaching full production capacity, about 210 thousand tons of products will be produced here annually. In addition, the plant will employ around 700 people.

In total over 11 billion rubles have been invested in the production process.

Although the plant started up in the spring of 2020, the opening had to be postponed until the fall due to the pandemic.

The plant operates on imported raw materials, and thanks to innovative technologies, the paper machine can use less energy resources, while during the operation there is no odor and the amount of waste during production is minimized.

The company has its own sewage treatment plant, and through the biological treatment of industrial effluents can use special cellulose-degrading bacteria, the food environment for which is just pulp.

To date, the company has already started construction on the second stage of the plant. The total cost will amount to about 8.5 billion rubles.
