KAMAZ exported trucks to Ghana

KAMAZ has delivered to Ghana a batch of KAMAZ-53228 flatbed trucks that have been adapted for use in local conditions.

The exported batch consists of seven all-wheel drive vehicles that were shipped to the port of St. Petersburg for further transportation by sea to Ghana. The customer will receive the trucks by the end of the current month.

It should be noted that KAMAZ developed the trucks specifically for use in the tropics. Russian trucks will be used to transport shea nuts, which are widely used in various industries, including cosmetics and food.

It should be reminded that the first KAMAZ trucks were exported to Ghana back in the 1990s. Later, with assistance of Russian authorities in implementation of the first and second stages of re-equipment of the global vehicle fleet of the UN World Food Programme Ghana received several more trucks from Russia. Thus, in 2014 and 2019, the UN mission in Ghana received over 50 all-wheel-drive KAMAZ trucks and 5 NEFAZ trailers.
