Rosatom State Corporation has completed the formation of an industry integrator in the energy storage business area Renera.

The new company will develop and promote lithium-ion traction batteries for electric transport and stationary systems for energy storage. Batteries are used for emergency and uninterrupted power supply, while storage systems are used for renewable energy and load schedule smoothing.

The integrator's portfolio includes over 120 projects of lithium-ion energy storage systems, which have already been implemented or are in the process of implementation. The company has also fulfilled the obligations on modernization of logistic electric transport, equipping the systems of operative direct current and uninterruptible power supplies with lithium-ion energy storage devices.

According to Renera's general director Emin Asgarov, the company can comprehensively solve the tasks set by the customer, from feasibility study and design to installation of equipment and post-warranty maintenance.

He stressed that the integrator is ready to fulfill individual requirements of customers on technical parameters, offering flexible conditions and formats of interaction. According to Asgarov, at present the deliveries are carried out according to the lease scheme. In the future it is planned to start deliveries through leasing and to offer a life-cycle contract.

Because the integrator has its own research and production center, the company is able to develop complex solutions for individual customer requirements along with standard systems.
