The Valley of Asparagus, Russia's largest producer of asparagus, has harvested its first crop in the Primorsky Region. This was stated by Alikhan Khashiev, Deputy Director General of the Far East Agency for Investment Attraction and Export Support.

Let us recall that the company has been operating in the North Caucasus since 2018. Then the company signed an agreement on growing crops in the Primorye Territory. It should be noted that "Valley of asparagus" is the first organization that grows this dietary product in the Far East.

According to Khashiev, a pilot batch was planted in the Mikhailovsky district and the first crop was harvested in 2020. He noted that if the crops are increased, in the future the products can be sold on foreign markets, including Japan, China and Korea.

The volume of investments in the project is about 400 million rubles.
