Kuzbass Broiler, one of the largest chilled poultry production facilities in the Kemerovo Region, has increased production volumes by more than 10%.
According to Alexei Grishin, head of the regional Ministry of Labour, in 2019 the plant joined the national project, after which it began work aimed at increasing the pilot flow of production and packaging of meat products. These measures resulted in a 10% increase in meat output from 107 to 118 kilograms per shift per person without increasing the staff.
According to the region's manager, during work on the pilot flow, specialists changed the system for organising jobs and storage areas for raw materials, which led to an 8-fold reduction in downtime at a number of production sites.
In addition, a marriage accounting system was introduced, which reduced the time losses at this stage by approximately half. Finished products were also packaged according to new standards and lean technologies were taken into account.
Kuzbass Broiler has been operating for 12 years in the settlement near Novokuznetsk. The company's products are sold in branded shops and large retail chains.
