The Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona will take place on 22-23 October in the usual offline format, said the Roscongress Foundation, which is one of the organisers of the event.

"In this difficult crisis period, which all countries have faced due to the pandemic, there is a need for concerted and consistent cooperation of the key authors of international relations in order to find solutions through dialogue to overcome the economic crisis and other challenges facing the world community," said the Director of the Foundation, Alexander Stuglev.

He noted that the Eurasian Economic Forum is the platform where government and public figures, heads of major companies, experts and diplomats discuss the most pressing issues on the economic agenda and develop the most effective solutions.

Stuglev said that the upcoming forum will discuss a wide range of practical issues in economics, trade and healthcare.

As Antonio Fallico, the president of the "Conoscere Eurasia Association" association, which is another organiser of the event, added, the sessions will also cover traditional topics, such as energy issues. Participants will also discuss the fate of the oil and gas industry in the coming years and integration issues of various conglomerates.

Fallico noted that two sessions will be held during the congress, one on coronovirus infection and the other on pandemics. Roscongress has initiated one of these sessions, where the fight against the disease will be discussed, he added.

During the second session, participants will talk about the development of research on this genome and the importance of such research. For this purpose, according to the President of the Association, scientists from Russia and Italy have been invited, who have been working on the problem since February. We remind you that Russia has allocated 1.2 billion euros specifically for this study.
