Sovcomflot will finance the operation of two gas carriers in Indonesia

Russian transport company Sovcomflot together with NYK Line and Samudera Shipping Line signed a loan agreement with two international banks MUFG Bank and Development Bank of Japan Inc, the press service of the domestic organization said.

The money received will be used to refinance the Tangguh Tovuti and Tangguh Batur gas carriers, which these companies manage together. These gas carriers are used to transport liquefied natural gas within the Tangguh LNG project in Indonesia.

The transaction totaled $155 million. This money has been issued for 8 years.

Earlier it was reported in the media that Sovkomflot's net profit doubled. In addition, according to the results of the first nine months of this year, the company's revenue increased by almost 11% to 1.3 billion dollars compared to last year.
