RT's projects won nine awards at once, overtaking almost all global competitors at the American Shorty Social Good Awards 2020.

For example, CNN, Disney, National Geographic, Paramount Pictures, HBO, Al Jazeera Digital, YouTube Originals and IBM Originals reached the final together with the Russian TV channel.

At the same time, 12 Russian works reached the final, six of which received the highest award.

RT's projects were the winners in several categories. For example, we are talking about "Auschwitz Lessons", "Endless Writing" and the project "War: Children's Drawings in VR Animation".

Global Citizen, the largest charity organisation, came in second place, winning five top awards.

World stars including Lady Gaga, Veuopse, Elton John, Billie Ellish and others participated in their virtual charity concert during the pandemic. The concert itself was included in the Guinness Book of World Records, raising the largest amount of money for charity.
