A new forging facility opened in Chelyabinsk

Konar Industrial Group launched a new forging production facility in Chelyabinsk.

Up to 20 thousand tons of forged shafts for pumps, turbines and forged rings, electric motors, generators, disks and housings will be produced here per year. All these products will be import-substitutes and will be immediately supplied to the plants of Russian Electric Motors and Neftyaniye Pumps, which are located next door. In addition, they will be sent to enterprises in the power engineering industry, nuclear power engineering, shipbuilding, and the oil and gas industry.

Pre-commissioning works will be completed at the plant by the end of the year, and the first products will be manufactured here in the beginning of the next year.

According to the management of the new company, the plant will be at full capacity, since agreements for supplies have already been signed.

Around 2 billion roubles have been invested in the project.
