Technodinamika Holding of Rostec State Corporation began supplying new tactical parachute systems Stayer for landing of special-purpose units.

The parachutes can be used at speeds of up to 350 kilometres per hour and can be used in Far North conditions.

Using Stayer, military personnel can perform jumps at altitudes from 700 meters to 10 kilometers with a maximum flight weight of up to 180 kilograms. This year Russian paratroopers have already used the new parachutes in harsh conditions in the Arctic. For the first time in the world they performed a group jump in the Far North from the lower edge of the stratosphere from a height of 10 kilometers above the Franz Josef Land archipelago.

The wing-type system has enhanced maneuverability when controlled and significantly increases the capabilities of special forces in the RF for tactical tasks.

The parachute system has no analogues on the domestic market. The parachutes have already been adopted for service, and the first systems have been sent to the troops.
