The Ministry of Economic Development and Rosstandart signed a prospective program for standardization in the field of artificial intelligence" until 2024.

Within four years, standards will be developed to regulate the safety of artificial intelligence systems for both people and the environment. Standardization will cover the implementation of artificial intelligence in various fields of human activity, including medicine, transport, education and construction.

The program will allow the country to develop this high-tech industry. Now it includes about 220 documents.

Back in October, the department sent the draft programme to more than 160 organizations. As a result of discussions, 44 new documents have been added to it.
