The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) intends to develop the engine building program together with Transmashholding.

Currently, the companies are discussing the establishment of a scientific and technical center for marine propulsion systems, where they will implement the diesel engine building program.

The main focus of the centre will be on diesel engines with the Tier 3A-3B emission level. This means that ships will be equipped with both diesel and gas engines.

At the moment, the main engine building asset of Transmashholding is Kolomna.
