The Center of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) will be created on the basis of Bauman Moscow State Technical University. It will focus on digital materials science, said the Made in Russia project in the press service of the interdisciplinary engineering center (IIC) Composites of Russia at the university.

Here will be created a digital approach to "fast" and "pass-through" design, development, testing and application of new materials and substances.

In total next year two new STI competence centers in photonics and modeling of new materials will work in the country. They will receive over 1 billion rubles in total from governments and the same amount from private partners.

Vladimir Nelyub, Director of the center, said the employees will develop, test, implement, monitor usage and recycling, utilization of materials and different substances, including polymer composites, additive materials and technologies, new structural and functional materials and substances, "green" materials and technologies for their processing.
