According to TEK-Rating, Sevmash Production Association of Severodvinsk became the main potential supplier of industrial products and services for oil and gas shelf development in the Offshore Fixed Platforms category.

The awarding ceremony took place at the end of December in the online format.

The rating was based on assessment of scientific-technical and production potential of the enterprises according to the polling results of over 30 oil and gas companies. The capabilities of domestic enterprises in the sphere of import substitution were also taken into account.

Sevmash is a part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation. Earlier it became known that the enterprise will hand over a Project 885M Kazan nuclear submarine to the Russian Navy next year.

This year Sevmash, despite the pandemic, has fulfilled its production program. Thus, the company has commissioned to the fleet a submarine Knyaz Vladimir, and taken the cruiser Knyaz Oleg out of the slipway. In addition the company has laid down two Yasen-M project missile carriers, tested the submarine Kazan and taken the ship Admiral Nakhimov to a new stage of repair.
