Two Rosmorport icebreakers will provide icebreaking this winter in the Khabarovsk sea port of Vanino.

According to the plans the vessels will come to Port Vanino by the middle of January. First the ships will be escorted by the ice-breakers Moscow and Novorossiysk. Later "Moscow" will be followed by "Kapitan Khlebnikov". Also, the tug of reinforced ice class "Trudozhenik" will work in the port.

Today Rosmorport has the world's largest group of icebreakers. The company's fleet comprises 36 icebreakers and icebreaking tugs of different capacities. Ships provide pilotage in 15 freezing seaports of the country.

It has become known earlier that the port of Vanino has been replenished with 5 new front end loaders. The equipment features enhanced maneuverability and fuel efficiency. Thus, due to the bucket of 6 cubic meters, the dock loader can lift up about seven tons of cargo at a time.
